The commonly cited 1990–1994 span is preserved here as provisional — it was asserted by this project's own seed research without an inline citation and has not been independently re-confirmed against the source article's text. The Loyale was discontinued in the US as the new-for-1989 Legacy took over the wagon segment and the 1994 Impreza took over the sedan/hatchback segment, leaving the aging platform without a market position.
