Advertising and affiliate links
How SubaruFacts is paid for, and what that money is not allowed to change.
Display advertising
SubaruFacts carries no display advertising. If that changes, this page and the privacy policy will say which supplier serves the ads and where they appear.
Affiliate links
Some product links on SubaruFacts are affiliate links: the merchant may pay the site a commission when a reader buys through one, at no extra cost to the reader. Each affiliate link carries a disclosure beside it. As an Amazon Associate, SubaruFacts earns from qualifying purchases.
Recommendations are approved one at a time through the CarFacts Recommendation Desk, and each one says which cars it suits. Recommendations never appear on the identification desk, and nothing you type or upload there is used to choose a product.
What commission does not change
Commission never affects which products are recommended, how they are described or ranked, or any published fact. No merchant or advertiser reviews a page before it is published. Vehicle histories, technical information and source citations read the same whoever sells the product.
If a link or a recommendation looks wrong, tell the editor. The privacy policy covers what a merchant receives when you follow a link.
