The redesign that toned down the nose and grew the engine.

A model-year-2008 redesign toned down the controversial B9 Tribeca nose and simultaneously replaced the original 3.0L engine with a larger 3.6L unit, improving both styling reception and fuel economy in the same update. Despite the fix, US sales totaled just under 77,000 units across the entire model run, and by 2013 the Tribeca was among the worst-selling vehicles on the US market at only 1,598 units that year; production ended January 2014.
